The video was created with the support of Olympus and the Colorectal Cancer Alliance and will release. Released during Colorectal Cancer awareness month in 2023.
Community Impact
Speaking at the Atlantic's People v. Cancer summit in 2022, James recounts difficulties faced pre-diagnosis while probing the source of abdominal pain, which ultimately leads to diagnosis of colorectal cancer at age 38.
TODAY show
James appeared on the TODAY show to promote the release of his solo music and spread awareness for young-onset colorectal cancer in the Black community.
